I am so excited about my photo being chosen by FILE Magazine, as part of ‘the collection’. I discovered this website a couple of weeks ago while looking at other people’s photostreams on flickr. It has become part of my everyday online routine - check my emails and messages on flickr.
Back to the original topic of File Magazine. They publish images that treat subjects in unexpected ways, which pretty much sums up what a lomo camera does. This is why it remains my favourite camera of all time and I still take it everywhere I go. I sent a couple of images I took while we were in Munich and they picked one to be featured as one of their headline images.
I can’t wait to take some photos in Berlin at the end of next month. In my mind, it should be quite different from Munich and I am expecting some old buildings, perhaps a little run-down but dignified.
